Mr. Obama, We The People request that through whatever action available (up to and including Executive Action) you remove Cannabis from the list of Schedule 1 drugs.
This is a gross misclassification of a proven medicinal herb that has been used to effectively treat seizures, reduce pain and work as an effective antiemetic, just to name a few.
Schedule 1 drugs are by definition:
1.The drug or other substance has a high potential for abuse.
2.The drug or other substance has no currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States.
3.There is a lack of accepted safety for use of the drug or other substance under medical supervision.
Given that the second and third have been proven categorically wrong the legal standing of it being classified as Schedule 1 is incorrect.
