Members of Congress who serve a minimum of 1 term automatically collect a pension. Every year Congress introduces more cuts to the benefits of servicemembers of the United States Military. Servicemembers who put their life on the line deserve to keep their benefits and Congress does not deserve a pension after one short term in office.
