REMOVE THE BAN THAT PREVENTS USING FLEXIBLE SPENDING FUNDS TO PURCHASE OVER THE COUNTER MEDICINE

In today's economy, it is difficult enough to cover ones cost of living expenses. I have enough headaches worrying about paying my expensive mortgage every month and paying for my child's day care expenses. It is frustrating to me that I elect for my employer to take out pre-tax funds for medical expenses and I cannot even use those funds to purchase Tylenol to relieve a headache, or Dimetapp to relieve a cough. It is not always necessary to visit a doctor and not always easy to take a day off to visit a doctor when there is a fear of losing ones job.
