After working for a Local institution for 18 years I became injured and can no longer work, the State of Kansas and the Federal Government will not allow people like us any type of Assistance (Food,Day care, Cash assistance) because they view our retirement accounts as a fund able resource. the Government wants us to drain these retirement accounts before getting one single grain of rice.
I do not think that we should make individuals drain these accounts in time of need, these types of accounts should remain a viable retirement force, as the individual cannot take money from them until retirement and they should not be used accordingly. People are allowed to have IRA's and Roth accounts but not a actual retirement account, we need to change this
