With all the recent news in regards to removing the confederate flag for it's racial conotations, I hereby ask that the BET channel be removed from any and all cable line ups. This channel shows that african american people can have shows based on their heritage, but southern/americans can not show or buy their conferedate flag based on heritage.
Racism is just that ... racism.
What if there was a White Entertainment Television (WET)? I'm sure a lot of african american folks would have their negative statements about how it is racist.
In conclusion, channels on television should be just that. There should be no race involved when choosing what content is shown on that channel.
