Remove the blanket immunity from police, allowing for police to be suspended WITHOUT until investigations are concluded.

Created by J.D. on April 30, 2015

With the recent deaths of unarmed citizens at the hands of overzealous police, it is high time we revisit the blanket immunity police have. When a police officer shoots an unarmed citizen he or she is place on "paid administrative leave". I say that they should be suspended WITHOUT pay until a thorough investigation by superseding authorities and federal authorities are concluded (i.e.: local being investigated by the state). If we were have shot people, we'd wind up in prison while the police get a "vacation".
