Remove the bullet button required exclusively in California

Created by A.B. on December 03, 2012

Firearm sales have been rising rapidly since 2008 and continue to increase. Despite the large amount of firearms being distributed to consumers, gun crimes have been known to either be static, meaning the weapons do not directly increase violence, or have decreased in certain areas.

The bullet button is unconstitutional and does not provide any real countermeasure against firearm safety but instead hinders it when cycling through ammunition. The state is also limits rifles to ten rounds per magazine already making it difficult to repel multiple attackers assuming the situation arose. I believe crimes involving firearms should have more focus on the individual that committed the crime opposed to the removal of a privilege given to the law-abiding citizens. Thank you for your time.
