Remove cannabis from the controlled substances act

Created by J.V. on June 27, 2013

Cannabis Sativa is currently listed as a Schedule I Controlled Substance.

We the people disagree with this classification.

The requirements for a substance to be listed as Schedule I are as follows:

1.The drug or other substance has a high potential for abuse.

2.The drug or other substance has no currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States.

3.There is a lack of accepted safety for use of the drug or other substance under medical supervision.

Of the above reasoning, non of which applies to cannabis sativa.

The current legality has impacted our country and it's citizens negatively for years.
