Remove cannabis from the Controlled Substances Act.

Created by J.S. on June 28, 2014

The Cultural, agricultural, economic, and medical impacts of cannabis in any form be it hemp or marijuana, are unmistakably there be it pro or con, The original recommendation from President Nixon's council on cannabis was for it to remain unscheduled as a drug, stating it did not pose enough of a threat to public safety, and should not be included in any schedule, also that cannabis was to be "temporarily" scheduled as class 1 until the review was completed, these recommendations were not followed by the administration.

40 + years later, millions of lives and families ruined, countless prisons filled with non violent offenders, the war on cannabis still wages, its time to start righting the wrongs done to our citizens and remove cannabis from the controlled substances act.
