Removing marijuana from the Schedule 1 drug list will make medical research into its uses in health care much easier. It will also solve the problem, now current in Colorado, of the inability of providers of legal marijuana to use the banking system, resulting in a fertile field for robbery and other criminal activity because of the large amounts of cash changing hands.
