Remove Cannabis (marijuana) from the Schedule I drugs list. Due to the lack of evidence of harm to the human body.

Created by G.H. on July 13, 2014

The implementation of Cannabis (marijuana) into the list of schedule 1 drugs has caused more harm to the people of the United States than the drug has to any individual. This prohibition has flooded our jails, caused trouble to small businesses (medical marijuana dispensaries), and was based off strong ideals of racism. There is no information or research that supports that Cannabis is as lethal as Heroine (schedule 1) or as Cocaine (schedule 2 drug). Therefore there is no reason for the United States government to continue this prohibition of a substance that causes less harm than alcohol or tobacco.
