Ms. Ortiz has shown repeated willingness to abuse her discretion as a prosecutor, possibly to further her political career.
In the outragious case of Mr. Caswell, she attempted to seize his family business and residence (a motel) claiming he was facilitating crime. Mr. Caswell has in fact worked with the police many times and has no criminal record.
It appears he was singled out because it was believed he would not be able to defend himself, and she almost succeeded.
Now she's actually talking about PUTTING HIM THROUGH THAT AGAIN!

Ms. Ortiz is currently the subject of congressional hearings regarding her conduct in Aaron Swartz' case and his subsequent suicide.
