This past Wednesday, the DEA explicitly added CBD oil to Schedule I classification.
Schedule I substances are, from DEA.gov:
"Schedule I drugs, substances, or chemicals are defined as drugs with no currently accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse."
CBD oil is non-psychoactive. There is zero potential for abuse. Furthermore, there are remarkable and widely noted medical benefits of this non-psychoactive cannabanoid.
Its properties help sufferers of wide ranging conditions manage their symptoms and pain without the side effects and issues of current treatments.
This unconscionable change must be undone. Until we do, real and avoidable harm will come to those in need of a compound that is less psychoactive than caffeine.
