As cats mature into adulthood they become lactose intolerant. Consuming cheese can cause digestive issues, most notably diarrhea. Cats are classified as obligate carnivores, and most veterinarians (and even sites such as WebMD) list cheese as one of the foods that cats should not consume. It is obvious that this new line of cat food cheese flavors from companies like Fancy Feast and Friskies is being marketed to humans, and has no regard for the cat's actual dietary needs. FancyFeast and Friskies are injecting an unhealthy, non-digestible substance simply for profit, and should be required to pull all products containing any amount of cheese from the shelves.
