Remove child tax credits for the calendar year for parents whose children fail the grade they are currently in at school

Education is increasingly important for the success of future generations. While teachers are evaluated and in some cases graded, parents are not held accountable for their child's performance at school, in spite of being responsible for feeding them and making sure they get enough sleep. By denying the tax break for that calendar year it sends parents the message that they will have to make sure their child succeeds or there will be financial repercussions.
