Tax exemptions are not a Constitutional right. The government cannot afford to let billions of dollars a year go uncollected. Many of today's churches are big businesses with incomes in the millions. These are not the small time churches of years ago that needed a tax break to provide charitable services. It is time for religious institutions to pay their fair share.
