I ask the United States Government (Congress, The President, Department of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms, etc) to remove the Civil Rights Restrictions on Convicted Non-Violent Felons.
Yes if you are convicted of Murder, Rape, or any VIOLENT offense you should not be able to possess a firearm. But really someone like myself at the young age of 18 who was convicted of worthless check should not be able to ever own a gun to protect himself and his family or be able to show his children how to hunt, etc when they get old. Why is it in our country there are Misdemeanor DUI (your driving drunk putting peoples lives in danger) and so can still own a gun yet writing a bad check and can't ever own a gun every again. This needs to be stopped.
