Remove Columbus day as a national holiday and instead replace it with National Voting Day.

Created by T.M. on November 28, 2014

Rather than waste a national holiday on celebrating Columbus' "discovery" of America, why not change that day to the first Monday in November and call it Voting Day. Working Americans have a hard time getting to the polls and having the entire day off would give them ample opportunity to cast their vote.
