The Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) is currently a joint venture of the Republican and Democratic parties. By allowing this organization to determine who may participate in the discussion, the rules are set in a way which makes it nearly impossible for anyone but themselves to become involved.
A Constitutional Republic like ours should have open involvement and be as inclusive as possible. As Executor of the Constitution, the President should take action to remove this barrier to an honest and open conversation that allows more than two platforms to be heard by our nation.
