Remove Common Core Standards in our nation's schools.

Common Core Standards for both English and Math are creating confusion amongst our nation's youth, but more so with math. First graders are attempting to learn the basics of algebra before even mastering the basics of addition and subtraction. Children become frustrated as do their parents because the unnecessary steps that must be taken to solve a simple arithmetic problem. A system is needed that fosters individual development; as most teachers using the Common Core curriculum are having to create groups to meet the needs of those who are falling behind the common core standard. Focusing on getting children ahead of the game when they are not ready is a set up for failure. Preparing them adequately with skills they can absorb will empower them to take on more when they are ready.
