Currently student loans compound all interest earned on student loans. This leads to deep debt burdens on people who are trying to get into an overly burdened work force. The debts usually end up being five to ten times greater than the original loan, and often becomes a lifetime of debt where only interest gets paid. What I am proposing is a government program that provides no-interest loans to people who need them for higher education expenses.
