Remove the Confederate Flag from all public areas.

Created by A.B. on June 20, 2015

The Confederate battle flag, once a proud symbol of the Southern States, has now become the visual presentation of racism, hate, and white supremacist ideology in America.

For this reason, and in light of recent events, We the People hereby respectfully ask our government to create and promote legislation banning the use and display of the aforementioned flag on all public and governmental spaces. Including but not limited to schools, parks, state capitols etc. We ask that its display be limited to educative purposes such as in museums and history textbooks. We the People extend this petition to all State Governments as well.
