In the 1800's the Bill of Rights was amended to establish corporate personhood. By granting personhood status, corporations have been able to enjoy the legal status and protections granted to human beings. Corporations have continuously used these powers to serve there own personal interest, while undermining the freedom and authority of the citizens of the United States of America.
This includes passing laws that may be harmful to the citizens, for profit, such as lowering EPA standards for issues involving pollution.
