Remove the cozy tax-exempt status from Religious Institutions. Proselytizing is not charity.

Created by S.M. on November 06, 2013

It is far too easy for anyone to form a "church" and take advantage from tax-exempt status.

It's possible for newly formed "churches" to even act as political entities as long as they avoid certain key words.

Charity deserves tax-exempt status. Churches are not charity... some may be charitable at times, but charities are not in the business of proselytizing .
