We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Remove CPAP Regulations from Commercial Truck Licensing

Created by S.P. on January 07, 2017

I believe that the new regulations regarding Commercial Drivers Licenses that have to do with Sleep Apnea are over reaching and unnecessary. The regulations that require those driving commercial vehicles to purchase and wear CPAP equipment during sleep in order to maintain a drivers license is an unreasonable burden on the millions of qualified professional drivers in the United States.

This requirement for retaining a CDL is putting an undue burden on commercial drivers and should be removed from US Department of Transportation regulations. Help those individuals who move Americas goods from coast to coast by removing unnecessary red tape.
