There is no evidence that Cuba sponsors terrorism. This designation does nothing except hurt Cuban Americans that want to visit & maintain ties to they family & friends residing in Cuba. Currently NO American bank will work with the Cuban consulate in Washington,DC because of this designation. The banks do not want to deal with the additional record keeping & reporting needed for working with countries designated as state sponsors of terrorism. This means no passports, visas and requests for birth certificates, death certificates, marriage certificates from Cuba. Remove this designation!
