There are a lot of great petitions that are on this website for the good of the people. Most of them would most certainly improve this country if they were accepted, yet many of them are not accepted because they fail to meet a deadline. I am utterly confused as to why we have deadlines set for any of these. If it wasn't for these deadlines, many more petitions would be reviewed, in turn, potentially making this country better. This is what the people want. This is what the people demand. Do away with these petition deadlines so that American citizens, who by the way, greatly outnumber politicians, can take a step forward in claiming their freedoms. Obama, if you believe so much in change, then let me tell you, change has no deadlines. Thank you for your time.
