Deputy Attorney General James Cole reportedly told Apple Computer executives that their choice to provide customers with encryption that the government could not crack would lead directly to the death of children. This type of inflammatory remark shows more than just a misunderstanding of the situation. This type of remark shows that James Cole is incapable of participating in rational discussions of complex issues. Please remove him from his post.
