'Black Hills Pine Beetle' and other parasites are destroying vast forests in the Midwest. They cause a large fire hazard and the infestation spreads at a exponential rate. We propose that a program be created at a federal level to level these infected forests, to stop further fires and infestation in National Forests. Additionally, since the wood is destroyed by the beetles, we suggest using the waste to create cellulose ethanol.
