Remove the Earned Income Credit

Created by J.C. on January 18, 2013

Remove the Earned Income Credit. Working citizens below a certain approved income level should have 100% of their taxes returned to them, they should not be paid above and beyond that amount. Taxes should not be used to reward citizens for being below a certain level of income. If a person pays in one thousand dollars of tax dollars and meet income restrictions then they should have one thousand dollars returned to them. They (myself included) should not have more than that in tax dollars returned. There is the basic misconception that the extra monies being paid would be going back into the economy. If you follow the money handed back out you'll see it being spent furiously and helping neither the individual nor the family as originally intended. Money in, Money out. No Bonus.
