The main reason the Electoral College was made was back in the 1700's there was no technology to count every vote in the nation, but in 2014 we can and do count all the votes. We should allow the president who receives the popular vote to become president, another reason why the Electoral College is bad is that votes from California, New York, Texas, etc count more than votes from Wyoming, Oregon, Nebraska, etc due to more states with larger populations get more votes then others. In conclusion we should remove the Electoral College to make voting more fair.
