Remove electoral college from existence. Popular vote is the will of the people, not 585 specially picked electorates.

The electoral college is an archaic and unnecessary protocol in our presidential voting system. I understand that it's there to allow those in power to have the final say on who they want as our president in the case of a popular/electoral split, but it is a horrible plague on our so called democratic process. The electoral college was put in place b/c there were large populations and isolated communities and all a candidate had to do was campaign in a few major cities and he'd have the majority vote.That is not true in the 21st century, the information age. The media, although skewed, relates everything campaign-wise. Allowing 585 people who can be bought off or choose to go against the popular vote in that state decide our president is a travesty. It is going to start a revolution.
