We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Remove the Electoral College's ability to vote against the popular vote and give our votes true meaning

Created by R.V. on August 18, 2016

The electoral college is an idea created centuries ago and was created to keep unfit politicians from entering the Oval Office and has since out lived its useful life in this country. These electors should not have the ability to go against the people's will as this is not democracy. Our democracy is a sham without true democratic elections in which our votes are guaranteed to have an effect on the electoral votes from our respective states. While it rarely happens that an elector will vote against what their state's popular vote chooses there is still the possibility and this is dangerous.
