We the individuals attending school in Douglas County School District RE-1 and those effected believe the removal of Dr. Elizabeth Celania-Fagen from her position as Superintendent is necessary.
In the 2013-2014 school year, over 350 educators and staff left the school district due to decisions made by Fagen and her administrators, leaving some students with numerous teacher changes throughout the year.
Additionally, Fagen has made decisions that have directly impacted the safety of students and parents involving recent weather events within Douglas County. Students and parents should not have to fear for their safety getting to school.
Therefore, we would like Dr. Elizabeth Celania-Fagen removed from her current position.
