CNG(Compressed Natural Gas) is the answer for america to gain energy independence. CNG is abundant, cheap, and clean burning. Yet the EPA is killing the broad expansion of retrofitting existing vehicles by making it illegal to sell kits and retrofit vehicles older than model year 2010. By removing emissions regulations from engines burning CNG, we have the potential to replace the use of gasoline and diesel derived primarily from imported oil with domestic natural gas and natural gas-to-liquids fuels. This will lower energy costs to American consumers, enhance national security, stimulate economic growth, create new high-paying jobs and improve the environment.
