Remove Exemption of Oil and Gas Companies from Clean Water Act.

Created by R.G. on August 07, 2013

It has been stated that Oil and Gas Companies particularly Natural Gas Companies are exempt from "The Clean Air and Water Act", Allowing them to use dangerous chemicals in the extraction of Natural Gas and contaminate our water supply. This exemption needs to be rescinded and efforts made if at all possible to have them pay to clean up already contaminated water supplies.

It is blatantly obvious that the amount of money provided by these companies to our government affords them these exclusions to policies that protect our society. We need to reverse this before the United States water supply is irreparably damaged.
