FBI director James Comey on October 28, 2016 issued statements concerning the closed investigation of presidential Candidate Secretary Clinton with less than 2 weeks before the presidential election. This is after director James Comey already issued a statement saying no indictment of Hilary Clinton would be requested by the FBI months earlier. Further it is generally uncommon for the FBI to issue statements about cases prior to their conclusion, which they did not do in this case.
It follows that Director Comey did not issue the statement on behalf of the interests of law enforcement, but rather he did so following political motivations.
Due to the proximity of the coming election, Comeys actions in this matter are unprecedented and unacceptable and Comey should be removed.
