Remove FDA Deputy Commissioner, former Monsanto VP Michael R. Taylor from his position due to a conflict of interest.

Created by J.S. on November 12, 2012

We the undersigned deem it the responsibility of the administration and all other parties involved to remove the current FDA Deputy Commissioner of Food, former Monsanto VP Michael R. Taylor from his position effective immediately.

As a previous high-ranking official and current lobbyist for Monsanto, a multinational promoter and developer of, among many things, genetically modified foods, we believe that Mr. Taylor has no place in the FDA. The FDA is responsible for, and I quote, "Protecting the public health by assuring that foods are safe, wholesome, sanitary and properly labeled..."

Due to many prior indiscretions and the blatant negligence for health and safety exercised by Mr. Taylor we believe that he has no place in our Government moving forward.
