The Weed for Warriors Project’s principle focus is ensuring veterans have legal access to cannabis in whichever state they reside.
Cannabis is recognized as an alternative to many dangerous pharmaceuticals commonly prescribed by the VA.
The VA acknowledges 22 veteran suicides occur per day, equating to over 8,000 deaths per year. With 29 States not providing data, including California and Texas, we fear an accurate number will easily surpass 16,000 deaths per year.
Mr. President, as federal patients we need you to grant us access to cannabis. We require this without discrimination or unjust action taken against us. Our military families have earned the right to heal.
