Global warming could prove not only an American threat, but a threat to every single living species on this planet. This petition seeks to prevent what could become the greatest ecological disaster the world could face in recorded history. Scientists on a global scale are in almost unanimous agreement in regards to the threat we face due to the expulsion of green house gases.
The argument that there are studies suggesting that science proving global warming is "untrue" can and should be disregarded under one simple premise. The suggested economic, cultural, or resource gains do not, and can not ever outweigh the risk of our entire planet. Any official unwilling to work towards preventing an extinction level event, despite their doubts, is unfit to represent.
