Thousands of children starve daily in our great nation. We petition the government to remove the current laws in place that require schools to throw away food that is unused. Lots of this food is hermetically sealed. Why do we discard it? This food could be used to feed most, if not all starving children. At minimum, allow (or force) schools to donate the food to food banks, soup kitchens, etc. Our children do not deserve to suffer.
