The Machinist Class in the upcoming MMO expansion pack titled "Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward" will be using unregulated small arms and antique firearms. We are concerned that the introduction of such weapons to the game environment will increase the crime rates of the game's world, promoting Gil selling, Gil buying, parser use, illegal addon use, and Powerleveling services.
We are also demanding that Square Enix, the company responsible for this game, adhere to it's nation's laws, and not permit weapons in its games, as they are strictly forbidden under Article 9 of the Japanese Consitution.
Because the game will be sold in and has been marketed in the US, we also expect the US Gov't to do all in its power to see this issue resolved, even by means of banning the game's sale if need be.
