On behalf of the honorable American public, I petition for the removal of Andrew Jackson's image from the twenty dollar bill. This is a distinguishable honor that should only be bestowed upon exceptional Americans who's legacy is deserving of such acclaim. Andrew Jackson oversaw one of the darkest times in American human rights history by enforcing the Indian Removal Act. He ignored Congress, the Supreme Court and the U.S. Constitution during his term. If America ever had a dictator, it was Andrew Jackson. The use of Andrew Jackson's image is offensive to the American public and degrading to the American ideal of freedom. This petition urges the White House to consider any number of former presidents who's legacy is more deserving of being honored.
