Please sign and support this petition to remove fraudulent mortgage foreclosure information from consumer credit reports. Millions of families lost their homes to illegal foreclosures. Now those same families are battling the impact on their credit history. They face sky-high interest rates and the burden of finding a home to rent with a poor credit history. Both the Federal Government and most state governments have declared the foreclosures fraudulent and have moved to mitigate the situation. The one area they haven’t addressed is credit history. If the foreclosures were fraudulent then the information on the credit report is fraudulent and must be removed.
