Remove the furlough affecting all medical personal assisting the DoD and their dependents.

Created by L.C. on August 15, 2013

Currently there is a furlough on the medical community with the DoD, and it has caused a lot of stress among the Active Duty community. I myself as an active duty soldier have seen first hand how this furlough has made it harder to get doctors appointments, medications and especially mental health care to soldiers at a good consistency. Having this furlough especially on those who take care of the soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines, coast guard, and other various DoD and their dependents is a great injustice to their profession and their most honorable vow to put their patients first before themselves. I believe it is beyond fair to remove the furlough placed on these dedicated professionals, for too long they have taken care of all of us. And it is time for us to speak for them.
