Remove "God" from currency & the Pledge of Allegiance

Created by V.S. on May 17, 2013

In 1957 President Eisenhower allocated the production of paper money that had "In God we trust" written upon it. Coins too, from 1864 to present have had this motto engraved upon them. The national motto of "In God we trust" too is presented in the Pledge of Allegiance, as "one nation under God", yet the Pledge of Allegiance is to America and her people; not to God. However, in a country with freedom of or from religion this is utterly unconstitutional. America has separation of church and state, and this needs to me maintained.
