We the People of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, request that 'one Nation under God' be removed from the national pledge, that 'In God We Trust' displays be kept out of and removed from government buildings (except in personal offices) and that students in public schools NOT need parental permission to NOT stand for or recite the national pledge, as students are OPPRESSED for not wanting to stand for a 'Nation under God'.
This Nation belongs to us all, so let's consider the +16.1% that don't believe in one God, whether they be atheists or polytheists. Because of this Nation's growing diversity we should be LESS inclined to keep (and further apply) this biased title of monotheism, and should be able to be 'true' patriots without having to be believe in a God.
