Remove "In God We Trust" from all future printed and minted U.S. currency.

Created by E.H. on May 02, 2015

I implore the Obama Administration to use executive action to ban the words "In God We Trust" from any and all U.S. currency to be printed and minted in the future. Reasons being that Christianity is NOT recognized as the religion of the U.S. and in fact it is wholly unconstitutional for the federal government to be affiliated with any religion, for or against. This nation was NOT founded upon any religion. "In God We Trust" was not adopted as the official motto until 1956. Our founding fathers warned of religion as a perverse system. It is unconstitutional for U.S. currency, a product of the federal government to acknowledge and promote a religion, a violation of the 1st Amendment of the United States Constitution, "Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of a religion".
