The United States claims to exercise separation of church and state, yet "In God We Trust" is still on all legal tender. For a country with such diversity, and such vast varieties of heritages and religions, for this to be on everyone's currency is absurd. It is 2014; there should be no mention of religion (especially not one in specific) on anything that is meant for every citizen of this great nation. Please sign this petition to raise awareness of the absurdity of having religious references on the bills that are supposed to represent our nation as the land of the free, not of the Christian.
