This petition deserves a proper respect. The response given previously was a grievous insult. The opinions of the president have no bearing on the first amendments clearly stated policy. the fact that "We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus, and non-believers." is the very reason it should not be there.
The purpose of the American Constitution is to respectfully represent all of it's people without showing bias as to carry a demeanor of welcome and respect to all. To show bias is to spit int he face of all those who do not share in your beliefs. I firmly stand behind the constitution as should the United States Government that is sworn to uphold it's very word.
